Il dado del lunotto posteriore (spesso un dado cieco in plastica o un dado metallico con spallamento) è un componente di fissaggio tecnico essenziale del portellone della vostra minicar. Garantisce il serraggio e il fissaggio dell'albero del motorino del tergilunotto oppure delle cerniere di fissaggio attraverso il vetro del lunotto. Sottoposto alle continue vibrazioni generate dal motore diesel bicilindrico, questo dado tende ad allentarsi nel tempo, a creparsi (se in plastica) oppure a bloccarsi a causa della ruggine. Un dado allentato o danneggiato provoca gioco nel braccio del tergilunotto, rumori di battito e pericolose infiltrazioni d'acqua nel vano bagagli.
