Il semicono di fissaggio della valvola (detto anche chiavetta o cono valvola) è un piccolo componente metallico semicilindrico e conico. Utilizzato sempre in coppia (due semiconi per ogni valvola), si inserisce nelle scanalature dello stelo della valvola e si incastra nel piattello superiore della molla. Sul motore diesel bicilindrico Kubota montato sui veicoli Aixam e Minauto, questi piccoli elementi hanno il compito essenziale di mantenere la molla compressa per garantire la corretta chiusura della valvola.
